NPS Education Foundation Tag Sale
We are holding a tag sale at Wequonnoc School in early July. The Early Bird date is Friday July 8th from 4 pm to 7 pm, admission is $5.00. Our second date is Saturday July 9th from 8 am to noon, with free admission!
We are also looking for donations to be made for the tag sale. We're looking for gently used items and clothing, including gently worn NPS uniforms.
You can drop off your donations on Wednesday July 6th at Wequonnoc School from 10 am to 2 pm or Thursday July 7th from 10 am to 2 pm.
Join us on Monday May 23 at 6pm at Central Office: 90 Town Street! All Norwich Public School teachers, parents and community residents are welcome at our meeting as the Foundation continues to support Norwich Public School classrooms. In the past year, the Foundation has awarded more than $6,850 in learning tools such as Algebra textbooks; Inquiry-based science lab activities; Independent learning stations; and the National Geographic Geography Bee and Traveling Map. We need your help to continue our support of Norwich Public School students!

The Norwich Public Schools Education Foundation is pleased to announce it recently awarded over $2,300 in grants to Norwich Public School classrooms. Grants include Inquiry-Based Science Lab Activities curriculum at Kelly MS; Math In Movement curriculum combining math skills and physical education at Veterans Memorial; Independent Learning Stations at Huntington; and "Munch Madness" activities at Moriarty, teaching students about nutrition. The NPS Education Foundation has awarded over $31,000 to NPS classrooms in 5 years.

Singing, dancing and talent to entertain you and a 50/50 raffle! The more people, the bigger your take-home prize! Pick up a half price admission ticket for $5 at any NPS school office or at the Rose City Senior Center. Admission at the door is $10. Kids under 14: Free. Special host and entertainer John W. The Norwich Public Schools Education Foundation is proud to announce Dime Bank has become a Friend of the Foundation. Dime Bank's generosity made it possible for the Foundation to provide document cameras to classrooms at Veterans Memorial School. Document cameras are an essential tool in the 21st century classroom. The Norwich Public Schools Education Foundation is pleased to announce it is accepting grant applications for its Winter Grant Cycle. Please see below for a description of the grants available.
Applicants shall include an itemized estimate of each of the costs associated with the proposed grant. Any funds not expended in the performance of the grant shall be returned to the Foundation by the end of the school year. Receipts reflecting the actual expenses of the grant shall be submitted to the Foundation in the grant recipient's end of year report to the Foundation.
The Norwich Public Schools Education Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded over $4,550 in its Fall 2015 Grant Cycle for the following grants to Norwich Public School classrooms: 11 Genius OSMO interactive iPad education kits; 19 Algebra I textbooks for Kelly MS students taking high school level Algebra; Sensory materials for students with autism; Various level reading books; Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center visits; Math mentor textbooks; and National Geographic Geography Bee and Traveling Map.
